I’m back with another easy makeup tutorial that I’ve been wanting to do for a couple days now. And I finally got the chance to do it! This is how to achieve a Cleopatra Inspired look this Halloween.
Inspired by this headpiece my mom-in-law brought me from Egypt, I decided to do a Cleopatra/Egyptian princess look. This look was so much fun to create. I have always been fascinated by Ancient Egyptian history and Egyptian culture in general. So much so that it is on my bucket list to go to Egypt one day and explore all those wonderful ancient structures.

Did you know? The Eye of Horus (represented by the left eye) is suppose to bring safety, good health, wisdom and prosperity to whoever wears the symbol. It’s also believed that the Eye of Horus was also worn to provide protection against the Evil Eye. This is why the Egyptians always carve this symbol into jewelry made out gold and silver as well as wood and porcelain. That small fact is very interesting because it shows how even the smallest detail has the biggest meaning in the Egyptian culture. If you would like to read more about the Eye of Horus click here.
I hope you guys find this inspiring and as interesting as I do. A HUGE shout out to my Egyptian family and friends! If you would like to achieve this look the tutorial is posted down below.
